Bosko

Bosko is a soldier in World War I.
That’s Not All, Folks:
This cartoon focuses more on action than on music. In fact, Bosko finds himself unable to make music for more than a few seconds without being faced with enemy gunfire.
What I Like About This One:
A band marching in the middle of the war and once they are caught in an explosion, they are reduced down to three men playing “Yankee Doodle”.
Bosko helping a fellow soldier (a dog) with his flea problem by allowing the dog’s hat to be shot full of holes (to use as a back scratcher).
Another soldier (a hippo) ends up swallowing a cannonball and acts very dramatic until Bosko removes it from him (by using the hippo’s body like a zipper).
