Bosko's Dog Race

Directed by Hugh Harman

Release Date:

June 25, 1932

Main Character(s):

Bosko, Bruno, Honey

Summary:

Bosko enters Bruno in a dog race. Bruno doesn’t too well, until he gets attacked by a swarm of bees.

That’s Not All, Folks:

This is the first time Honey and Bruno appear in the same cartoon.

The music that plays when Bruno chases a squirrel sounds similar to the theme that would be used in the “Looney Tunes” from late 1932 to mid-1933.

What I Like About This One:

Bruno being unenthusiastic about the race.

On the board where the race dogs’ names are listed, Bruno’s name is in big letters with an equally large number 13.

Bruno splitting into miniature versions of himself, all of which then transform back into him.
