Summary:

Buddy and Cookie end up in “Sourtown” where anything laughing, singing, dancing, jazz music, and any form of merriment and happiness are banned.

Laurel and Hardy are seen in a stockade for laughing and smiling.

What I Like About This One:

Clouds being personified at the start of the cartoon.

A bird laughing at Buddy and Cookie’s misfortune, but ends up being dragged along by their anchor.

The premise overall is very original.

King Sourpan having a lemon juicer on top of his head and squeezing lemons on it.

The ending where Buddy inspires the town to be more cheerful, and the king accidentally ends up in his own spanking machine.
