Summary:

Trolley driver Buddy takes his favorite passenger, Cookie, on a ride, where the villain from the previous Buddy cartoon kidnaps her.

This is the last Buddy cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. For the rest of his tenure in the 1930s, he would solely direct Merrie Melodies, until he left for MGM for about a year.

What I Like About This One:

The opening song at the beginning.

A spittoon coming to life and running away to avoid having tobacco spat in it.

A passenger trying to catch the trolley and ends up being bumped along the track to the tune of “Turkey in the Straw”.

Buddy extending his trolley up to flirt with Cookie, but ends up causing a major traffic jam.

Buddy attacking the villain by swinging around and kicking him in the face.
