That’s Not All, Folks:

This is the last cartoon to use the 1939-1940 red, white, and blue rings.

The title is a pun for “Ceiling Zero”.

What I Like About This One:

A pilot who has just received his license having a license plate on his rear end.

A six-motored airliner flying off without the plane.

A mechanic filling a large tire of a plane, which is revealed to be a miniature plane with large wheels.

Another plane having a trailer with wings attached behind it.

A “cabin cruiser” has a literal cabin in place of the cockpit.

A “camouflaged” plane is invisible to where only the pilots’ upper bodies and the plane’s propeller are shown in the air.

A pilot bailing out of his sputtering plane with a parachute labeled “Good to the Last Drop”. He lands a few feet in front of a billboard advertising, “Next Time Try the Train”.

Another plane’s shadow acting as a car on the highway.

The pilot using his hand as a windshield wiper during a storm.

Stunt pilots making smoke in the shape of a knot which both get stuck in.

A pilot doing a loop the loop in his plane and doing a loop the loop himself after he gets out of the plane.

The last gag is an extended one involving a test pilot. He uses a phone to communicate about the plane’s altitude, longitude, fair speed, and oil pressure as well naming the score between USC and Tennessee.

When ice starts forming on the wings due to how high up the plane is, there is an iceberg and a polar bear on one of them.

In the end, the plane zooms downward and crashes. The narrator frantically asks if the pilot is killed, to which the pilot, mostly unhurt, climbs out and answers, “Mmm, could be”.
