What I Like About This One:

Cinderella calling the police when her fairy godmother fails to show up on time, ending the call with a masculine “GO GET HER, BOYS!”

When Cinderella says she hopes the police find the fairy godmother, the radio replies, “Don’t worry, lady. We’ll search every beer joint till we do!”

The fairy godmother mistakenly taking out rum instead of her magic wand, and then blushing in embarrassment.

The fairy godmother getting mice for the coach by getting them out of the wall that operates like a slot machine. She then accidentally turns them into Santa Claus and his reindeer before producing a cowboy and horses and settling on that.

When Cinderella is about to arrive at the ball, two royal subjects hear the horses’ feet clomping before going into a rendition of “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain”.

Prince Charming being revealed to be Egghead who tips his whole head to the audience!

Cinderella kissing Egghead on the nose. The kiss mark then says, “Oh boy!”

The cuckoo trying to stop the clock from reaching midnight by trying to hold the big hand back.

Cinderella running off when the clock strikes midnight and deliberately leaving behind the glass slipper (animated by Irven Spence).

Egghead finding Cinderella’s house and looking for her. All of the eight cuckoos in the clock tell him, “Now, you know she wouldn’t be in HERE!”

Egghead finding a note from Cinderella saying she got tired of waiting and went to a Warner Bros. show. She’s in the audience watching this very cartoon and walks all the way up to him. Reunited, they decide to go back to the tenth row and stay for the newsreel, walking through the iris-out.
