Summary:
Beans hopes to get into a Hollywood studio, but the guard won’t let him in. After sneaking in disguised as Oliver Hardy, Beans accidentally disrupts a picture with Little Kitty singing and with Oliver Owl as the director. When Oliver tosses Beans into another room, Beans accidentally turns on Frankenstein’s monster and he must stop it before it goes on a rampage.

Beans introduces himself as “one of the Boston Beans!”
The cartoon is in the public domain, due to the owners failing to renew the copyright in time.
A poster reads, “Hurricane Hardaway”, which is a reference to Ben Hardaway, although he had already left the studio at this point and wouldn’t return until 1938.
What I Like About This One:
The guard throwing out Beans, which causes his car to crash into a tree. When the wreckage clears, Beans keeps hitting his horn, bottom first.
The tires on Charlie Chaplin’s car doing the actor’s famous walk.
Beans’ shadow and the microphone shushing when Oliver is about to shoot the picture.
A turtle playing two pianos at once with his hands and feet.
The sound effect when a crew member accidentally hits Beans with a long plank.
The monster’s theme.
The monster eating a movie camera and spitting out bolts and reels.
The monster taunting his reflection (the reflection then punches him into a water bucket).
The monster’s defeat.
