Summary:

When gaucho Foxy visits a saloon where all the patrons are drinking beer and dancing, his horse gets drunk and hallucinates wildly.

That’s Not All, Folks:

This is the first Merrie Melodies cartoon and the first appearance of Foxy.

From this point forward, Hugh Harman directs all of the Bosko cartoons (which were the “Looney Tunes”) while Rudolf Ising directs the Merrie Melodies.

What I Like About This One:

Foxy riding his horse a certain way except for when he whistles or scats a part of the title song.

The horse doing a dance of his own before Foxy ties him to a cactus.

The waiter (an ape) opening his mouth like a cash register.
