That’s Not All, Folks:

This was the last cartoon to use the Looney Tunes theme from late 1933 to late 1936.

What I Like About This One:

The rendition of “March Dignitaire” (the music that plays when the commandant first appears).

The commandant having so many medals, he sounds like a jingle bell whenever he walks.

The commandant calling Porky’s attention, and Porky heavily stutters when he tries to ask, “Who, me?” The commandant then imitates Porky’s stutter when replying, “Yes, you!”

Porky imitating the commandant’s walk when he follows the commandant to be assigned as a camel scrubber.

The camel making Porky’s job of washing him difficult.

The letter informing the troops about Ali Mode flying around and landing on the commandant’s pointy mustache.

The commandant’s mustache curling into glasses when he reads the letter.

Porky grumbling about being left behind, and saying that if he came face to face with Ali Mode, he’d “punch him in the jaw, the big sissy!” He then gets frightened at Ali Mode’s picture on his wanted poster.

Ali Mode sneaking up to the fort and imitating whatever noise Porky makes when barricading the fort’s door. Ali Mode gives himself away when Porky does a terrible attempt at a yodel, and Ali Mode does a much better yodel. He then accurately imitates Porky stuttering, “Pretty good, huh?”, but then says “Ha, that’s perfect!”, making Porky realize that Ali Mode’s there.

When Ali Mode’s troops dig underground to get into the fort, Porky attacks them all at once by chopping a tree on top of them.

The way Porky single-handedly fights off the enemies.

One of the enemy troops getting smacked in the face by the well’s handle, whenever someone falls in said well.

The camel helping to defeat Ali Mode by slapping him with his humps and dunking him into a barrel of syrup.

In the end, Porky is made commandant and wears most of the ex-commandant’s medals. The remaining ones are decorated on the camel.
