The Devine pig was voiced by Tex Avery (one of Avery’s first times doing voices in a cartoons, and for a cartoon he didn’t direct).

What I Like About This One:

The “Better Make It Dead” line on the Terror’s wanted poster.

The “Burglar Alarm” being a dog happily wagging its tail with a cowbell attached to it.

The Terror going back to a phone booth just to steal a solitary, single coin he missed.

The people’s horses going on strike, producing signs that read, “We’re on a sit down strike”, “We balk, you walk”, “We’re sitting because we can’t stand for it!”, and “No Feed No Steed”.

The reason behind the Terror’s robberies is that he’s a gambling addict (he starts ranting about a coin labeled “slug”).

Horses being stacked on top of each other and the stagecoach they’re pulling when the Terror stages a night robbery.

The unexplained reason for the Mexico border being the Terror’s safety zone, meaning the sheriff and his posse can’t cross it.

The Devine pig’s horse getting visibly irritated with his rider’s off-key singing of the title tune.

The revolver on the Terror’s gun acting like a slot machine.

Whenever the Terror shoots off whatever hat the Devine pig is wearing, the latter keeps replacing it with another hat.

The Devine pig’s horse getting a lot of pleasure out of sliding down the mountain and wanting to do it again.

While his horse is mountain sliding a third time, the Devine pig catches the Terror with a lasso gun and reels him in.

The Devine pig being made sheriff and the Terror’s head is shown mounted on the wall. The camera then pans to reveal the rest of the Terror’s body on the other side of the wall in a cell.
