This cartoon is seldom aired on television due to its somewhat sexist nature. The only home media release it has is on the “Politically Incorrect” side of “The Golden Age of Looney Tunes Volume 3” laserdisc box set from 1992.

When Johnny is introduced, his face briefly morphs into a caricature of Clark Gable.

Johnny’s voice sounds similar to the lead gangster bird in “I’m a Big Shot Now”.

What I Like About This One:

A wolf whistle being heard when the temperature drops down to “way way below”.

One guy who walks down the street taking a huge bite out of the apple Frankie tries to sell him, which is then followed by a polite rich gentleman buying one.

A pig who was just gotten out of the bath exiting the apartment’s bathroom, but immediately runs back in when he sees Frankie coming up the stairs (the noise he makes sounds similar to Hugh Herbert’s laugh).

When Johnny asks Frankie to “fork over the dough”, the latter opens up her shoe like a cash register.

When Frankie sees that Johnny left her, she starts to faint, but then backs up to a pillow to land on a soft spot.

A title card reading “Time Staggers On”, and a drunk clock is shown staggering across the screen.

After encountering Johnny at a bar and getting assaulted by him, Frankie shoots him and she begs for him to speak to her. Johnny says, “Ah, ya just grazed me!” and she angrily knocks him out with a bottle.

In the end, the tables are turned with Frankie living the good life and Johnny being forced to sell apples in the snow.
