That’s Not All, Folks:

This cartoon is the first of three things: the first of three appearances by Gabby Goat, the first of two Looney Tunes cartoons directed by Disney legend Ub Iwerks, and the first cartoon where Mel Blanc voices every character.

Gabby repeats Petunia’s “EXCITED!? WHO’S EXCITED!? I’M NOT EXCITED!” from “Porky’s Romance” at one point.

What I Like About This One:

All of Gabby’s outbursts.

When Gabby lashes out at a slow truck driver, the driver calmly deposits him in a mud puddle (which is what you’d probably want to do to an annoying person).

Porky accidentally getting smacked by the truck’s paddle and then accidentally hitting Gabby (of course, since this is a cartoon, Gabby is still alive).

“Where am I? Where am I? Now ain’t that a smart question!? I’m under the car, ya big fathead!”

The animation of Porky and Gabby’s car struggling to go up a steep hill.

Porky and Gabby try to push the car down the hill, but then they have to chase after it when it rolls down the hill without them. They also have to outrun the vehicle when it rolls backwards down another hill towards them.

Gabby complaining about having to unload the car while Porky puts up the tent.

When Porky is bothered by an annoying bee, he yells for Gabby to get the fly swatter. Gabby doesn’t find it and uses a shovel instead.

“I’ll fix you so you won’t sting anybody else!”

The entire climax with a runaway outboard motor (especially when Gabby tries to shoot at it, but keeps bouncing back and forth and hitting a horn bottom first).

Porky and Gabby running into the same truck from the beginning.
