Summary:

The Invisible Man is haunting the Warner Bros. studio because he is angry that the studio starred him in only one movie. Porky Pig, as detective Mr. Motto, is assigned to catch him.

That’s Not All, Folks:

The cartoon is a parody of the series, “Mr. Moto”.

There appears to be a lost scene from this cartoon. It happens when Porky passes a visibly frustrated director sitting in his chair before the scene cuts to the Invisible Man laughing and walking away from the camera after covering the screen with his cloak.

Radio announcer Walter Winchell is parodied as “Walter Windshield”.

Live-action stock footage is seen after a newspaper headline says, “Aroused People Demand Mr. Motto”.

What I Like About This One:

The opening title card: “Any resemblance this picture has to the original story from which it was stolen is purely accidental”.

Movie villains being interrogated including Frankenstein’s monster, who starts biting his nails like a typewriter in fear. The guy interrogating him is then revealed to be a midget with a large shadow!

The Invisible Man walking up a staircase and continuing to walk in mid-air around the pole supporting said staircase.

The Invisible Man eating an apple which becomes whole again in his stomach.

“Why, I’ll crack every camera, I’ll wreck every reel, smash every set, scare every star out of Hollywood!”

The newspapers announcing that “Aroused People Demand Mr. Motto” before another headline says “Sorry, Motto on Vacation”.

The police calling Porky anyway, where it’s revealed that Porky is on a desert island reading a book on jujitsu.

Porky using coconuts as a phone.

Porky leaving his vacation by riding the desert island with an outboard motor attached to it, before flying to the police station in a plane.

Still reading his jujitsu book, Porky accidentally pulls a move on the police chief.

The Invisible Man hiding from Porky by hiding on a “Lotta Dimples” movie poster.

After Porky defeats the Invisible Man with jujitsu, he squirts him with anti-invisible juice, revealing the Invisible Man as…. Hugh Herbert!
