Viva Buddy
Directed by Jack King
Release Date:
September 29, 1934
Main Character(s):
Buddy

Buddy is in Mexico where he goes against a villainous character named Pancho (caricature of Wallace Beery).
That’s Not All, Folks:
This is the only Buddy cartoon where Buddy’s name is not the first word in the title.
What I Like About This One:
The snores from “Cantina El Moocher” being so powerful that Buddy can’t get in the place!
Two men at a game of checkers-except for the fact that they’re sleeping and all the action being done is by Mexican jumping beans.
The gags that result from Pancho’s shooting (especially with the bells and tequila).
Pancho himself is an amusing character.
